Planning something outdoors? Here are a few things you might like to know. For advice about your own space, Tristan is happy to talk.
Where do you work?+
We’re based in Wollongong and primarily work throughout the Illawarra. We can consider projects in surrounding areas depending on the work involved. Send us your suburb and a brief description, and Tristan will confirm whether we can help.
What kinds of landscaping do you do?+
We specialise in hardscape construction, including excavation, retaining walls, paving and tiling, sandstone works, brick and block work, steel edging, fencing and gates. We also create raised garden beds, install turf, complete garden transformations and offer ongoing maintenance.
Can you help with a small job?+
Yes. We’re happy to discuss jobs of different sizes, from an individual garden improvement to a larger outdoor transformation. Tell us what you have in mind.
How do I get a quote?+
Call Tristan or complete the project enquiry form. We’ll discuss your ideas and arrange a site visit so we can understand the space, your priorities and your budget before preparing a quote.
Do I need a finished plan before getting in touch?+
No. A few ideas, photos of your space and an indication of what you’d like to achieve are enough to start the conversation. We can talk through the practical options during the site visit.
Can you work with my budget?+
We’ll discuss your budget early and consider the scope and materials with that in mind. A site visit helps us provide useful, project-specific advice and pricing.
How soon could work start?+
We can often start around four to five weeks after planning, depending on our current workload and the requirements of the project. Tristan will confirm an indicative timeframe when you enquire; it is not a fixed booking guarantee.
Who will oversee my project?+
Tristan, the owner, oversees the details and stays in touch throughout the process. Your Way Landscaping is a small business built around direct, personal communication.
Are you qualified, licensed and insured?+
Tristan holds a Certificate III in Landscape Construction and a NSW structural landscaping licence, number 494533C. Your Way Landscaping also holds public liability insurance.
Do you offer ongoing garden maintenance?+
Yes. Ongoing maintenance is available. We can discuss what your garden needs and agree on a suitable arrangement.
Do you work with builders and developers?+
Yes. While much of our work is for homeowners, we also welcome enquiries from builders and developers. Send through the scope and location so we can discuss the project.
When can I contact you?+
Our normal hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 am–5:30 pm, and Saturday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm. We’re closed on Sundays and public holidays. After-hours work is by prior arrangement.
